 Member information 

Yolanda Fernández Pena holds a BA in English Philology (Specialisation in English Linguistics) and an MA in Advanced English Studies (Specialisation in English Linguistics) from the University of Vigo. Since 2013, as a member of the research group LVTC (Language Variation and Textual Categorisation), she has been working on her PhD Dissertation Verbal agreement with collective nouns in New Englishes under the supervision of Dr. Javier Pérez Guerra.  

As for her teaching experience, Yolanda has worked as a teaching assistant at the University of Vigo in the courses 'Structure of the first foreign language: English', 'History of the first foreign language: English', 'Language variation and language change of the first foreign language: English' and 'English as a foreign language'.
